Thermal Imaging

What is Thermal Imaging?
Thermal imaging is an innovative technology that can aid a CERTIFIED inspector to help find items not visible to the naked eye. This service will enhance a home inspection by allowing the inspector to see temperature differentials which can be further evaluated for moisture, hot/cold air intrusion, and possible electrical defects among other things.
Thermal Imaging can assist in the detection of:
-
Water infiltration
-
Roof leaks located with recent rain fall within 24-48 hours
-
-
Cold / Hot air infiltration
-
Excessive moisture in building materials
-
Stud / Joist / Beam / Rafter placement
-
Insulation gaps, insufficiency, and unevenness
-
Electrical drops, panels, breakers, switches and wire connections
-
Heating and cooling duct placement, insulation, air leaks
-
Pipe locations
